Corporate Workshops

Apart from the art workshops for socially marginalized groups, SMart has a long history of working with corporate clients such as Harrods or John Lewis. If you’d like to organize a creative team building workshop in your company and at the same time support what we do, please get in touch with us.

Benefits of the workshop

The primary aims of these workshops are to stimulate creativity, to offer new tools of communication and to facilitate team work.

The secondary aims of the workshop are to discover or develop individual artistic skills and to help to understand the effects of social marginalisation.

SMart Network offers the Corporate Sector an opportunity to experience, participate and support a community project that has been helping to rebuild the lives of those people that for unfortunate circumstances suffer from social disadvantages.

As art is a common ground you will be able to work side by side with some of our clients who will be delighted to share with you not only their artistic skills that they have developed through participating in SMart’s art projects, but they will share their life experiences with you, and give a personal testimony of how SMart’s projects has helped them to improve the quality of their lives.

Case study

GTME DAIGEO/SMART PROJECT

SMart Network uses art as a medium to rehabilitate and develop homeless and socially-marginalised people. The founder of SMart has dedicated his life to helping people transform their lives through art. Through his teaching and belief he has inspired and motivated these people to break boundaries – some have even had their artwork exhibited in the National Gallery.

Impact International’s Community Action Programme, invited SMart Network to host a day workshop for senior staff from GTME Diageo. Not only did participants have the opportunity to do some practical art work and meet the clients but the main challenge for Diageo was to advise and support SMart on developing a model to become a sustainable enterprise.

“The day was very, very inspiring. We were able to make a real difference to SMart, by delivering some really tangible benefits; it was a day of truly appreciating and celebrating life.”

Workshop at John Lewis 2013

“It’s always good for the soul to work with really great people and so I was delighted to be able to engage the support of just such a team under the excellent leadership of Jaime Bautista at SMart Network who helped us by providing some unique creative sessions at our 2013 Annual General Meetings.   Jaime was able to draw from the SMart philosophy of using art to nurture and build through a whole series of marvellous workshops with my team which were designed to bring our business plan to life through art.  The sessions created huge amounts of energy and have received universally positive feedback.  It was a pleasure to work with Jaime and to be able to support the vision of his charity of empowering and engaging people through creative activity.”

Kind regards
Simon Fowler MD
